During an official visit to Bassa Town Field in Waterloo, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura’s presence generated significant momentum, with many supporters rallying behind him. He emphasized that his candidacy for the presidency is driven not merely by intelligence or competence, but by a heartfelt desire to “Heal, Unite, and Build the APC and the Nation.”
Dr. Bangura explained that the DIB Movement has strategically designed its campaign to confront Sierra Leone’s pressing challenges, including trauma, suffering, poverty, and the urgent need for peace, unity, and development. He underscored the movement’s commitment to shaping a brighter future for Sierra Leone across political, economic, social, and academic dimensions.
A central pillar of the campaign is civic education, aimed at restoring hope among Sierra Leoneans and strengthening the bond between citizens and government. Dr. Bangura affirmed that their mission is not to dwell on past grievances but to actively shape a promising future.
