The Iron Ladies of Dr. Ibrahim Bangura held a historic meeting on Saturday, August 16, 2025, with 42 support groups, their chairladies, and key executives. It was the first time these groups gathered to engage directly with the leadership of the Iron Ladies and the District Coordinating Team. The purpose was to strategize for the upcoming grand launch of the Iron Ladies nationwide.
Since their formation, these groups have consistently supported Dr. Ibrahim Bangura’s movement. The event, a first-of-its-kind, brought them together to discuss a unified strategy for strengthening the women’s wing, also showcasing the unshakable determination of Kenema’s women to rally behind Dr. Bangura.
Dr. Bangura’s vision, humility, and proven leadership qualities make him the most fitting candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC) leadership. It is no surprise that the majority of women in Kenema District have committed their full support to him, a commitment that speaks volumes about his credibility and genuine love for both men and women—a true “He-for-She” leader.
Special appreciation goes to the Kenema District Coordinator, Mr. Mohamed Bengeh, whose tireless efforts and strategic leadership continue to build strong relationships at the grassroots level. His dedication ensures that Dr. Bangura’s ambition to become APC’s Leader and Flagbearer in 2026 remains firmly on track.
We also extend our gratitude to Madam Jeneba, one of the formidable women of the DIB Women’s Coordinating Team for the DIB Iron Ladies across the nation. Her commitment has been a driving force in mobilizing women for this transformative movement.
Above all, we thank Dr. Ibrahim Bangura himself for recognizing and accepting the Iron Ladies of Kenema as an integral part of his campaign. His inclusiveness demonstrates that he is a leader for today and a visionary for tomorrow. Truly, he stands as the best candidate for the APC and for Sierra Leone at large.
