“They are in the habit of changing the Expiring Dates of their Expired Goods” —Workers Expose PEE CEE & Sons

Several workers who have preferred to remain anonymous have reached out this medium, FORUM NEWSPAPER that Pee Cee & Sons are in constant habit of changing the expiring dates of their expired goods especially food stuffs. Abu Sesay (not his real name), a worker from Pee Cee & Sons said: “Almost every month, Pee Cee & Sons has expired goods especially food stuff. But guess what, they are in the habit of changing those expired dates…they normally do this at night…” Apart from him, other workers have strongly support the above allegations.

In line with the foregoing, in order to make this story balanced, before going to press, FORUM NEWSPAPER reached out to the management of Pee Cee and Sons for clarifications, but all efforts proved futile.

In another development, during an engagement with fishing companies, the Parliamentary Fishing Committee, Hon. Catherine Zainab Tarawalli has raised concerns about the operating standards of Pee Cee and Sons cooling facility for frozen food. Apart from her, other honourable members like, Hon. Neneh Lebbie stated: “I am not happy with the fact fishing companies are winning up in the country.  It reminds me that there are issues…”
