Sierra Leone Football Association President, Thomas Daddy Brima, bid a heartfelt farewell to the national U20 team- Shooting Stars- as they departed today, Friday, February 16th, for Liberia. The team is set to participate in the highly anticipated Zonal U20 Tournament scheduled to take place on Saturday the 17th to Sunday the 25th February 2024 in Monrovia, Liberia.
Amidst a backdrop of enthusiasm and anticipation, President Brima extended his best wishes to the team, expressing confidence in their abilities to represent Sierra Leone with pride and honour on the regional stage. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and determination, urging the players to give their utmost effort and showcase the talent that exists within Sierra Leonean football.
