Four esteemed members of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs are currently attending a comprehensive two-week seminar, dedicated to enhancing tourism capacity development for English-speaking nations.

This significant event is taking place at the prestigious Central Academy for Culture and Tourism Administration (CACTA) in Beijing, People’s Republic of China.

The initiative is designed to elevate participants’ knowledge and broaden their perspectives on contemporary tourism and cultural paradigms and has attracted delegates from six African nations.

Throughout the seminar, participants will engage in enriching activities including lectures, symposiums, guided tours, and immersive cultural experiences. Upon successful completion, all participants will receive certificates.

Under the visionary leadership of Mrs Nabeela Tunis, the Ministry remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting staff learning and capacity building in a fair and transparent manner.

Mrs. Tunis is dedicated to fostering staff growth and exposure within the reinvigorated Ministry’s structure, which now boasts directorates aimed at fostering private sector partnerships and resource mobilisation among others, within the tourism industry.
