Eighteen years old Foday Koroma a motorbike rider and Forty one years old Haja Tarawaly a petty trader made their first appearance before the Magistrate Sahr Kekura of Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown on two count charge to with store breaking and larceny and receiving stolen goods.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused Foday Koroma on Friday 29 September 2023 at No. 21 Hans-Kawa Drive Hill Station the Western Area in Freetown with intent to steal, broke and entered into the store of Abdul Bai Kamara and stole there in four pieces of fabricated iron gates pillars, seven shovels, four head pans, and other relevant items all to the total sum of seven thousand nine hundred and twenty Leones (Le7,920) property of the said Abdul Bai Kamara. On count two, the accuse person Haja Tarawaly on the above date and place did receive one blue barrel drum value two hundred Leones (Le200) property of Abdul Bai Kamara knowing same to have been stolen.
When the charge was read and explained to the accused persons, no plea taken. The prosecutor assistant superintendent of police Ibrahim S. Mansaray seek for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.

Meanwhile, magistrate Kekura refused bail and sent both accused persons to the male and female correctional facility in Freetown matter adjourn to the 17th January,2024 for further hearing.
