One of the popular contenders for the main opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) 2028 Presidential candidacy (flag bearership), Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara Esq., has described the Tripartite Committee Report as a ploy by the governing Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) to hoodwink and outfox the APC.

Lawyer Kamara made the observations in a post shared via his official X wall, on which he wrote; The Tripartite Report is a longish wish list and a long argbakor to eat dividends of electoral reforms, reiterating that the report was used to hoodwink and outfox the APC.

He blamed the APC partys failures to use the judicial process, which according him still haunts the party, adding; My people, we volunteered our heads for government to break accounts.

The firebrand opposition figure made the statement following the expressions of dissenting views and opinion urging government to fast track the implementations of key recommendations of the Tripartite Committee Report that are yet to be implemented as mandated by the documents.
