One of the leading Mobile Network Companies in Africa, the Africell, through its successful service lunched Angola, has attracted the pivotal pursuit of a senior Diplomat of the United State, Secretary of the State, Antony John Blinken during his recent visit to Africell’s headquarters in Angola.
A report confirmed that Africell is the only U.S. owned mobile network in Africa, with an active service in Angola, which has attracted almost “five and half” a million customers in the country. The report recorded: “Also present in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone and The Gambia, Africell support U.S. and local interest across the continent by prioritizing, secure network, infrastructure, creating skilled jobs, driving financial inclusion through its Afrimoney mobile money platform, and sponsoring artistic and cultural exchange through the Africell Impact Foundation.”
The network’s data center in Angola, which was built entirely with secured technology, was commended by the Secretary, Antony John Blinken, and he deemed the service exceptional among other telecommunication networks in Africa. A high-tech gallery called “10A,” which was created by the Africell Impact Foundation, and dedicated to the Anglocan Creativity and Cultural Collaboration ignited Antony John Blinken’s pursuit as the United States of America is set to deepen its economic and political engagement on the continent as a whole.
As part of the Network’s milestone contribution to serving humanity, it was reported that the Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is Africell’s biggest external investor, and that “Africell is the first mobile operator in Africa to receive DFC financing:” It has been attested that Africell’s record and strategic importance of digital communications has helped to drive American economic and political strategy in Africa.
Pleasantly, the Chief Executive Officer, President and Founder of Africell, Ziad Dallous expressed his glowing appreciations to the United States Secretary, Antony John Blinken for his visitations to his network headquarters in Angola. He reassured Secretary Blinkin of Angola being a suitable place for business, adding that it is the reason for his investment on building a trusted and secured mobile telecommunications network in the country.
Ziad Dallous concluded by stating his expectations from international business firms towards the Africell’s flourishing service in Angola; he said: “We hope that Africell’s success in Angola will inspire other American and other international business to invest here, including but not only under the auspices of the partnership for global infrastructure and Investment.”
