On Friday, 29th August 2025, UBA Sierra Leone proudly partnered with the Under 30 CEOs for their Annual National Youth Dialogue, held at the Freetown City Auditorium. The event brought together young leaders and change makers to discuss youth inclusion in governance, climate change, and livelihood skills development.

Representing UBA Sierra Leone were Sallieu Sesay, Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications (MCC), and Juliana Kabba, Internal Communications & Brand Management Officer.

Speaking at the occasion, Sallieu Sesay highlighted on his statement the impact of the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) in transforming Africa’s entrepreneurial landscape.

He further spoke about UBA Sierra Leone’s commitment to innovation for young people, spotlighting products like Leo, the AI-powered chatbot, and the NexGen Account, both designed to meet the lifestyle and banking needs of today’s youth. Sesay also referenced UBA Sierra Leones’s recent signing and renewal of contract with Sierra Leone’s sensational artist, Drizilik, who continues to serve as brand ambassador for these youthful products. All these show how committed UBA Sierra Leone is to empowering the youth of the country and Africa at large.

He concluded by reaffirming UBA Sierra Leone’s commitment, “We believe Africa’s greatest asset is our youth. They are not only our future, they are our present.”

UBA Sierra Leone remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that empower young people and drive sustainable development across the continent.
