UBA Sierra Leone on the 23rd and 24th January, 2026 held its 2026 Annual Strategy Session, bringing together staff from across all departments to review performance, align strategic priorities, and set a clear direction for the 2026 business year.

The session emphasized execution, teamwork, customer focus, and digital innovation as key drivers of growth.

The Board Chairman, in his remarks, encouraged staff to remain strongly business-focused and action-oriented. He urged staff to align their strategies with clear, measurable results, while emphasising the importance of sustaining the bank’s number one position and continuing to lead in Profit Before Tax (PBT).

Reaffirming this, the Managing Director/CEO, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, reminded staff that “strategy is nothing without execution,” urging all teams to translate plans into measurable results as the bank continues to set the standard for banking in the digital age.

The session ended with a renewed sense of unity and commitment among staff to deliver on the bank’s 2026 objectives.
