According to Dr. Christian Bell, Christians love for spiritual and social reasons, affirmed that love is a gift, that love is the most valuable gift from God, that without love we cannot sustain peace, that we don’t own anything in this world including our lives and revealed that it is an abomination for Christians to pour libation on the graves of the dead and even visit cemeteries to talk to the dead not to mention worshiping other Gods which he reiterated is unchristian.
The theme for the convention was “I beg you bear with one another in love” Ephesians 4: 1-7.
Sister Melrose Bob-Lucas served as chairperson of the program, Rev. Eli Pratt spoke on the topic ‘Upholding the Unity of the Church and Home in Love while Rev. William Abai dilated on the topic ‘Good Relationship in the Office’. The rapporteur was Ms. Annie Johnson, Assistant Secretary, UCW.
