The Speaker of Sierra Leone Parliament, Rt. Hon. Dr. Abass Chernor Bundu has told the New Citizen Newspaper that he will not go to parliament because parliament is extremely toxic. He went further to state that he will not go to parliament until the right thing is done relating to the indiscipline in parliament.
Dr. Abass Bundu lamented: “Yes, it is true that I am still working from home and it will remain so until parliament is detoxified…until the right thing is done relating to the indiscipline in Parliament, I will continue to work from my home…you cannot use the argument of morality to undercut the law when evidence abounds that legal abuse of office, conflict of interest, embezzlement, and corruption is rupturing the administration of Parliament…”
