On Friday, 11th October 2024, the USAID Country Representative, Randy Kolstad, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Information and Civic Education, Mr. Chernor A Bah, to discuss USAID’s priorities and continued partnership with the Ministry.

During the meeting, the USAID representative outlined key priorities for the upcoming year, with a strong focus on electoral reform and peace-building initiatives. USAID expressed its commitment to supporting efforts aimed at enhancing democratic processes and consolidating peace in the country. These efforts are aligned with the broader goal of fostering sustainable governance and civic engagement.
The discussion also centered on public access to information, a critical element for enhancing transparency and accountability in governance.
