As part of their long-term vision for sustained growth and development, Bhantal Football Club has officially unveiled its grassroots team, which will compete in Division Two under the name “Bhantal FC Division Two.” This strategic move is designed to nurture young talent and provide a clear pathway for these players to progress to the senior team.
The newly formed squad is composed of players aged between 15 and 17 years, focusing on developing their skills and preparing them to be immediate feeders to the senior team. The initiative reflects Bhantal FC’s commitment to fostering young talent and ensuring a strong future for the club through continuous development.
The grassroots team is already making strides in the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) Division Two League this season, where the young players are gaining valuable experience and exposure. The club’s management sees this as a crucial step in building a sustainable and successful football program, ensuring that the next generation of footballers is well-equipped to contribute to the club’s future success.
Bhantal FC’s decision to invest in youth development aligns with global football trends, where nurturing young talent is seen as essential for long-term success. The club’s leadership is confident that this grassroots team will not only strengthen the senior squad in the coming years but also contribute to the overall growth of football in Sierra Leone.
