92 Cases Up for Trial

Hon. Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay has on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th May 2023 respectively, presented Ninety-two (92) accused persons to be tried by High court judges of Sierra Leone.

These 92 accused persons were facing preliminary investigation (PI) at various magistrate courts of Sierra Leone.

According to Hon. Justice Ansumana Ivan Sesay , the  various criminal indictment cases to be tried at the High Court includes; House breaking and Larceny, Conspiracy to commit Burglary, Store breaking, Child theft, Larceny in a Dwelling house, House breaking with intent, murdered, manslaughter, wounding with intent, robbery, Sending insulting message, Fraudulent conversion, Causing grievous bodily harm, Conspiracy to commit Larceny, Office breaking, Conspiracy to Murder amongst others to be trial by assigned judges. According to judiciary source, the said trials are   scheduled to take place on Thursday 17th May 2023.
