The Management of Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority wishes to inform the general public that due to persistent technical issues experienced within the Freetown Distribution Network on Friday, 3rd February, 2023 at 9:30 PM, customers in the Western Area are currently experiencing intermittent supply of electricity.
As an Authority, we never expected such technical glitches to erupt at this period of operations and has therefore, deployed all responsible engineers and technical staff to help resolve the problem at Freetown 161 as soon as possible.
In that regard, the Authority is sorry for the inconvenience this situation may have caused to its valued customers and further thank them for their continued patience and understanding.
Be rest assured that we are working tirelessly to normalize power supply in the Western Areas as soon as the problem is resolved.
