Madam Linda Muckson Sesay – CEO and Owner of Community Health Foundation in a bid to have improved the well-being and status of Sierra Leoneans residing in Mile 91 and surroundings has on Saturday the 25th February concluded a two-days Free Health Care Launching and Medical Examination Exercise in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation in Sierra Leone.
The exercise which took place at 2 Silicon Hills in Mile 91, Tonkolili District, Sierra Leone has impacted over 400 Sierra Leoneans with check-ups and free medicines.
At the start of the launching, Madam Linda Muckson Sesay CEO and Owner of Community Health Foundation Medical Centre disclosed that the aim of the Free Health Care for Pregnant Women, Lactating Mothers and Under 5 Children is an initiative to reduce maternity deaths to zero percent for Sierra Leoneans.
Kadiatu Kuyateh – benifitiary who brought her little child for medical check up and medication said that the initiative is well appreciated by residents in Mile 91 and that she is encouraging the people of Mile 91 and surroundings to embrace the opportunity been provided by CEO Linda.
She also thanked madam Linda the CEO of Community Health Foundation for providing Free Health Care for Pregnant Women, Lactating Mothers and Under 5 Children.
Fatmata Kamara – a pregnant woman from Rochain Kamandawu in Upper Yoni Chiefdom expressed happiness and gratitude to the management of CHF Hospital as they have taken ventures to reduce maternity deaths in the Chiefdom. She also said that people residing in Mile 91 should embrace CHF Hospital as it is the only private hospital that provides free health care.
Doctor Adebo I Noah – Medical Superintendent of CHF Hospital said that it is of great opportunity for the people of Mile 91 to have a modern hospital with sophisticated equipments that are developed to a high degree of complexity.
Dr Noah also said that people should be sending their patients at CHF Hospital as a way of averting the long distance from Mile 91 to Magburaka Government Hospital.
“Not only the three categories of the free health care, CHF Hospital is also rendering medical assistance for all illnesses more expecially surgical operations at all ages” Dr. Noah said.
In addressing the benefitiaries, Vasty Unchendu – Matron and Anesthesia of CHF Hospital said that CHF Hospital is rendering quality medical services and safe health care delivering to Sierra Leoneans. She also said that the dream of madam Linda Muckson will be achieved as they are committed to effectively working in Collaboration with medical staff to put the hospital at the highest level of health delivery.

The Community Health Foundation Medical Centre in Mile 91 was established in 2022 as a Medical Hospital in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation of the Republic of Sierra Leone with the aim of providing access to affordable and quality Maternal Health Care for communities in Sierra Leone.
She also spoke on the ongoing project which the organisation is also constructing a 100 beds capacity hospital in Mile 91.
“If this 100 beds capacity general hospital is achieved, it will reduce the government’s expenditures in sending patients outside country for medical attention” CEO Linda said.
CEO Linda Muckson Sesay on behalf of the Community Health Foundation extended thanks and appreciations to the Ministry of Health and Sanitation as they look forward to more collaborations in the future that will be of help on either side.
