As Africa’s Global Bank’s financial service provisions continue to attract international and regional attentions since it commenced operation in the small West African country, the West African Women’s Network (WAWN) has recently awarded the United Bank for Africa Sierra Leone (UBA-SL) for the institution’s pivotal roles in promoting the empowerment of women, equity, as well as inclusive..

UBA-SL has come this far in placing competent women in administration and management positions ensuring the smooth running of the bank, for which the regional women’s organization, WAWN has made of recognition of the bank’s role in the financial service sector with the award.

“We are proud to receive an award from the West African Women’s Network for our laudable support to women and financial inclusion in Sierra Leone,” shared on UBA Sierra Leone official social media networks.

The post further reads, “Our Country Head, Human Capital Management (HCM) UBA-SL, Millicent Yormah received the award on behalf of the bank.

UBA-SL, with its passion in promoting women’s empowerment, equity, and inclusivity, therefore dedicated the prestigious award to all female staff, customers, as well as the beautiful women of Sierra Leone.
