A Ghanaian National with three Sierra Leoneans, two males and a female are currently in police custody for allegedly possession of huge quantity of cannabis sativa, disclosed Police Media Unit Waterloo, Western Rural District.
Waterloo Division Media Unit, Allieu Jalloh Tuesday 6th June 2023 confirmed that the said suspects are in custody for unlawful possessions of cannabis sativa.
According to police, during a raid conducted at the suspects’ dwelling house by the Operation team, Waterloo Division, huge quantity of dried leaves packed in rubber a drum that was reasonably suspected to be cannabis sativa were arrested and brought to the divisional headquarters for further investigations.
Police reports are that during the raid, Police also discovered a cannabis compressor machine, imported fertilizers, water pumping machine and hosts of other equipment used for the cultivation and processing of cannabis sativa in the said premises.
The items found during the process were treated as exhibits. Investigation into the matter continues.
