The Office of National Security (ONS), Sierra Leone will today Friday, 16th June this year updates the public on the several developments regarding the security sector’s preparedness towards creating the conductive environment for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming elections slated for Saturday 24th June 2023.
The press conference is expected to bring out most recent preparedness of the ONS devoid from the updates the security institution presented during the recent National Stakeholders Conference organized on elections preparedness by Election Management Bodies (EMBs), with support from International IDEA.
Considering the aforesaid, ONS kindly invite international bodies, local and international development partners, observers, Civil Society Organizations and the media to witness a press conference at ONS headquarters, OAU Drive, Tower Hill, Freetown, barely a week to polling day.
