The Sierra Leone Taekwondo Association has on the 25th of June 2022 elected new members for the next four years. The Election took place at the Henry Moore Auditorium Olympia Africa Goderich.
Before the Voting took place there were issues regarding a constitutional amendment and the director of Participation at the National Sports Authority Stevens Kelefia said that they are going to work on those issues after the Elective Congress and they have already set up a nine-man committee that will start to look at arising issues in the Constitution.
A Constitutional Review Committee has been set up and will work until November and after the review then it will be adopted in February next year 2023.
The executive of the Sierra Leone Taekwondo Association has elected Oness Abayomi Johnson as the president of the association for the second time, he scored (13) votes cast out of the 16 total votes cast his opponent got three votes cast.
