As compassionate as he is, Dr Richard Konteh has on Thursday June 16, 2022, fed over 2000 children at Lumley, Pentagon and Juba all in the west of Freetown. His passion for the wellbeing of children has a long history.

Dr Richard Konteh was born to a head teacher who had shown greater love and care for children in the various schools he taught. Mr Kanda Bernet Konteh who was popularly called Pa K.B. Konteh was father of Dr Richard Konteh and was on record to have taken care of vulnerable children while serving as head teacher in various schools.

As a good son who happens to be the third born to Pa K.B Konteh, Dr Richard Konteh inherited the culture of love and care for children especially the vulnerable ones from his two parents. He has demonstrated this in different quarters.

In his family school located at Juba in Freetown, Dr Richard Konteh and wife have over twenty vulnerable children they are providing care and support for. This provision includes feeding, shelter, clothing and payments of their tuition fees. He has always been children friendly.

On Thursday June 16, the compassionate Dr Richard Konteh provided food and learning materials to over two thousand children in three locations which included Freetown Road, Juba and Pentagon in the west of Freetown.

Responding to a brief interview after the exercise, Dr Richard Konteh has this to say; “I always find extreme pleasure helping the needy especially vulnerable children. I feel satisfied today to put smiles on the children at a time like this”.

The exercise ended with broad smiles on the faces of the children and their parents. D-Unifier believes in sharing even in an extreme circumstance.
