The maiden car winner of the Africell Sierra Leone (Africell SL) six months Mega Promo, Alusine Jalloh has Wednesday 6 September 2023 said in Freetown that he has a tie with cars.
Jalloh made the statement on the occasion of the official handing over of the keys to the brand new Suzuki car to him at a presentation ceremony hosted at Africell SL headquarter Wilberforce in Freetown.
He said since 1980 to date his father had and continues to be making a living from car dealings, which contributes immensely to him becoming a professional driver with 15 years’ experience in both private and commercial driving.
Asked by Africell SL Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Joe Abass Bangura, Jalloh replied that he is a father of two – Anita and Samson Jalloh.
In an emotional mood, Alusine Jalloh revealed that his son Samson Jalloh got involved in an accident when he was only eighteen months old, and continued that the accident occurred in their family compound, when Samson Jalloh was seating behind a stationary vehicle unnoticed and an individual entered the car and put the car on a reverse motion that seriously hit Samson on the head resulting to a serious head injury.
He added that Samson was rushed to the Emergency hospital, Goodrich, Freetown and admitted until the lad was able to survive the accident.
The Africell SL car will be my second car in a life time, disclosing that his first vehicle was a Corolla Toyota.
Currently, Alusine Jalloh is working as senior driver in Chico Chinese Company but however could not ascertain whether he could quit his current job or not.
Responding to when he joined the Africell SL family, the professional drive hinted that he joined the family in 2006 unto date, regardless of fact that this is his first time of becoming a lucky winner in the many promotions the company had organised.
He recalled that his first ever sim and old-fashioned motor roller mobile phone bought for him by his father, adding that since 2006 to date he had misplaced his sim more than ten times but always remained courageous to be replacing the sim whenever it got missing.

In another development, Africell SL Events Sponsorship Manager, Nancy Toure presented the fifth motorbike key and document of ownership transfer to Julian Jonah, who identified himself as a civil engineer. He informed that he joined the Africell SL family in 2014.
‘Since then until now, I have never misplaced my sim card and this is my first time of winning Africell SL promotion’, said Jonah.
