According to a press lease that was released by Mansurr Koroma, Head of Media and Marketing, Northwest Region Football Association they have appointed Hon. Rachel Pessima for Female Football in the Northwest Region.
The Executive Committee of the Northwest Region Football Association wishes to announce that it has today the 12th of January 2024 appointed Hon. Rachel Pessima as the Ambassador for Female Football in the Northwest Region.
This appointment is a testament to her immense dedication and passion for sports, particularly in the realm of women’s football,” the release reads.
According to the release, throughout her career, Hon. Rachel Pessima has consistently displayed strong equality and empowerment of women through sports.
Her tireless efforts and exceptional contributions have not only made a significant impact on the development of both male and female football in the region but have also served as an inspiration for aspiring footballers.
