The ongoing Central One Football Association (Cofa) League has reached its Final Stage at the Parade playing field. The inter community League sponsored by Mohamed Gento Kamara that started in August 2023, has finally reached its climax and the Final will be between the Central Community vs the Kroo Town Road Community.
It could be recalled that the competition consist of Forty teams battling for a star prize for Fifty Million Old Leones, whistle the runners up would take away Thirty Million Old Leones respectively.
In the first semi Final match between the Fourah Bay Community and the Kroo Town Road Community, we saw a lot of beautiful football from the both sides. But, at the end Kroo Town Road Community booked their tickets to the Final after Defeating Fourah Bay Community by 2 goals to nil at the Parade Field. Goals from Musa N Kamara and Joseph “Kaka” Kamara sent Kroo Town Road to the Grand Finale, and Musa N Kamara commonly known as Musa Tombo won the player of the match award in that particular encounter.
In the second semi Final game between Central Community vs Kissy Community, there were lots of excitements going in to the match between the two teams hoping to reach the final but at the end of the day Central Community made it to the Final after Defeating the Kissy by 2 goals to 1 at the Parade playing field. M2 a player from Central community won the player of the match award after his exceptional performance.
The Final is set to commence on the 9th of March 2024 at the Parade Field and all roads leads to this all important Cofa league Final between Central Community and Kroo Town Road Community.
