FC Kallon one of the leading football teams in Sierra Leone football has secured a spot in the ongoing Sierra Leone Football Association FA Cup against Francess FC.
This mouth-watering Quarterfinal between FC Kallon and Francess FC took place on Thursday, 22th March,2024 at the SLFA football Academic field in Kingtom where FC Kallon defeated Francess FC by 3-2.
This match was named by many fans as a local Derby because both teams were led by the Kallon brothers.
Mohamed Kallon one of the prominent names in Sierra Leone football is in the helm for Fc Kallon, while their opponents, Francess Fc, was led by Musa Kallon who is the elder brother of Mohamed Kallon.
Going into the match, both teams were very determine to progress to the semi-finals but FC Kallon carries the day. 
Mohamed Kallon got the edges Over his Elder Brother Musa Kallon as Fc kallon Defeated Francess FC by 3-2 to Qualify for the FA Cup Semi-final.
Goals from Saidu Fofanah Okocha in the 30 minutes of play, Ibrahim M Kamara in the 55 minutes of play and Alhaji Abu Koroma in the 88th minutes helped FC Kallon to book their place in the semi Final of the Sierra Leone FA cup.
“It will be a fantastic match to watch,” says a supporter, clearly looking forward to the game. I like to be challenged and I’m pretty sure my brother will definitely push me to a wide range of thinking today” said Mohamed Kallon, adding a touch of humour to the pre-match anticipation.
The Kallon family is well-respected in Sierra Leone’s football scene, with Musa Kallon being hailed as “arguably one of the best coaches in SL” by his brother and fans.
