Sisters at the Sehsüchte International Students Festival.
Sisters, a short documentary film developed under the project ”Looking Closer” in 2023, was screened on Friday, April 26, 2024, in Postdam, Berlin, at the 53rd Sehsüchte International Students Film Festival.
Sierra Leonean Aminata Dryne Bockarie, an award-winning filmmaker and Sisters editor, is attending this colorful event.
Aminata Dryne Bockarie, who began film training at the Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) as a trainee in 2016, has since become one of the institution’s most versatile film lecturers. She has made significant contributions to the evolution of the Sierra Leone film industry by passing on her knowledge to prospective filmmakers and filmmakers in the art of filmmaking.
