Frederick Dapaye Peters, stage name FAMOUS, has recently provided livelihood support to wheelchair users and People with Disabilities – PWDs, worth thousands of Leones.
The goodwill gesture doled out by FAMOUS through FAME ENTERTAIN, is in fulfilment of recent commitment the entertainer made to donate to wheelchair users around Cotton Tree, Pademba Road in Freetown.
‘I am writing to share some exciting news regarding my successful efforts in making payments to support wheelchair users and PWDs in meeting their daily needs. Peters recalled making a promise during the Freetown ‘One Life’ concert saying; ‘I made a commitment to donate to wheelchair users along Cotton Tree – Pademba Road axis,’ shared via FAMOUS’ official social media handles.
He expressed profound delight for meeting such commitment, noting that; ‘I am very delighted to inform you that my recent initiative has made significant and positive impact in the lives of these individuals, providing them some financial help to meet their basic needs.
At Fame Entertainment, he said, ‘we have always been committed to promoting inclusivity and ensuring equal opportunities for all members of society’.
FAMOUS believes recognizing the challenges faced by wheelchair users and PWDs, ‘we launched an initiative aimed at supporting their daily needs.
He profusely thanked the individuals, organizations, who in diverse ways played crucial roles in making the initiative a success story. The ongoing success story of the ‘One Life’ concert and album that was launched enabled us to provide such help.
We hope to keep this momentum moving forward while seeking to more support vulnerable groups in our communities.
