Liberia’s champions of the 2023-24 Orange First Division League, Watanga FC have announced preseason friendlies with champions Bo Rangers, East End Lions and hopefully First Division side Tornado FC in preparation ahead of the club’s TotalEnergies CAF Champions league preliminary qualifiers against Mouloudia Club d’Alger of Algeria.
The Paynesville-based First Division club will depart for Bo, Southern Sierra Leone on Friday the 2nd of August for a week long pre-season training camp and international club friendlies.
“While in Sierra Leone, we will play Bo Rangers on the 4th of August, East End Lions & hopefully Tornado FC” a club statement confirms.
The Liberian club further thanked the philanthropist, owner of the Southern Arena and Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers Mr. Babadi Kamara for making the trip possible.

Watanga FC will play Bo Rangers on Sunday 4th August hopefully at the Southern Arena in Bo City, while also engage East End Lions days later then eventually face off Tornado FC before the club finally departs for Liberia for the first leg of their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League match against Mouloudia Club d’Alger at the SKD stadium in Liberia.
