Freetown, Sierra Leone, Amara Momoh a Masoner on Monday, 30 September, 2024 made his first appearance for the trial of his case before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Pademba Road Court No.2 in Freetown on a count of Larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the particulars of offence on Wednesday 18 September 2024 at Law Court Building Siaka Steven Street the western area in Freetown Stole one 18000 BTU out door Air condition unit value Eighteen Thousand Leones (Le18,000) property of the Judiciary of Sierra Leone. When the charge was read and explained to the accused person he pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor DPC 18235 Thoronka K. K. sought for a short adjournment date for him to get proper conference with his witness.
For the meantime, Magistrate Bangura granted the accused person bail in the sum of Twenty Thousand Leones (Le20, 000) with two sureties as those sureties must be gainfully employed bail which must be approved by the Deputy assistant Registrar. However, magistrate Santigie Bangura adjourned the matter to 9th of September 2024.
