As part of preparation for the approaching National Delegates’ Conference, diaspora members of the All People’s Congress (APC) Phoenix Arizona United States of America chapter have thrown a heroic welcome to one of the party’s leading figures, at lined up evens slated for the official inauguration of the APC Arizona Chapter.
The APC Arizona Chapter’s symbolic reception to Dr Kaifala Marah was accompanied with chapter’s profound commendations of their keynote speaker’s instrumental roles in the restoration of the APC back to power coupled with efforts aimed to reform Sierra Leone.
Making a statement at the opening of the event, the keynote speaker, Dr. Kaifala Marah informed comrade that the move to return the APC party to governance is not about him but the nation. He thus appealed to all to overcome the challenges faced by the party and work collectively towards its return to state governance come 2028, encouraging partisans to grown above what the party is currently going through and restore its good reputation especially for what everybody used to know the APC for.
“The party is at a crossroad. The economy is bad. The country is largely polarized along ethnic, regional and political lines”, he said and observed that there are so many disadvantaged faced by the APC with challenging issues surrounding the party now that ever. Dr Marah encouraged fellow APC comrades to collectively confront the party’s emerging responsibilities, pointing out that the party is in a big trouble. He commended the Phoenix, Arizona Chapter president, Shangari for his relentless efforts in organizing the party in diverse ways.
Formed part of the event are the lined up activities commencing on Friday 15 November 2024, kicks off with a meet and greet at 3402 Osborn Road Phoenix, AZ 85017 in the Unites States at 8pm. It expected to host high profiled APC party members from back home and across the host chapter.
Followed by the inauguration will be lunch, general meeting which is expected to be hosted at 12421 W. Kaler Drive, Glendale, AZ 85307, from 1pm – 3pm, on Saturday 16 November 2024 prompt.
The lunch, general meeting will be followed by the inaugural dinner and dance also at 3402 Osborn Road, Phoenix, AZ 85017 at 8pm.
