The ceremony, held on Monday 17th March 2025, was attended by a large number of staff who expressed their excitement and optimism about the future leadership of SLRSA. The jubilant staff celebrated the appointment of Bio and Scott-Manga, both of whom are known for their extensive experience in the sector and positive relationships with their colleagues.

James Baggieson Bio and Abraham Josie Scott-Manga are well-regarded for their years of service and commitment to road safety in Sierra Leone. Their appointments to the leadership of SLRSA come at a crucial time when the agency is focused on enhancing road safety, improving service delivery, and strengthening its role in the country’s transportation infrastructure.

Staff members are particularly hopeful that this new leadership will bring about improvements in the welfare of employees and uphold the highest professional standards within the sector.

Sources within the organization revealed that many staff members are particularly pleased with the appointment of Bio and Scott-Manga, citing their strong leadership qualities and deep understanding of the challenges within the road safety sector. There is a collective sense of optimism that the new leadership will not only focus on improving the overall functioning of SLRSA but will also address the concerns and well-being of staff members.
