The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has issued an official warning to the general public regarding Chrispin Toma, a former employee of the Authority. According to a recent statement, Toma, who previously served as an Auditor in the Internal Controls and Audit Department, is no longer affiliated with the NRA. His dismissal from the Authority was finalized on February 13, 2025. As a result, the public is strongly advised to avoid engaging with him in any capacity.

The NRA’s announcement emphasises that Chrispin Toma is no longer authorized to represent or act on behalf of the Authority in any professional or business matter. Despite his previous role, he no longer holds any position within the organization and is not permitted to conduct transactions or business in the name of the NRA. The warning serves as a precautionary measure to protect individuals, businesses, and organizations from potential risks associated with engaging in dealings with him.

The public has been reminded that any transactions or interactions with Chrispin Toma after his dismissal are not endorsed by the NRA and are entirely at the risk of the involved parties. The Authority made it clear that it will not be held responsible for any actions, agreements, or losses arising from engagements with the former employee.

This move is part of the NRA’s continued efforts to maintain transparency, accountability, and the integrity of its operations. The Authority is committed to ensuring that all its employees and representatives uphold the highest ethical standards. In light of this, individuals and businesses are urged to be vigilant and avoid any potential scams or fraudulent activities that could stem from dealings with someone no longer affiliated with the Authority.

The warning highlights the importance of safeguarding public and business interests against individuals who may try to misuse their former positions for personal gain.

Engaging with unauthorized individuals can expose parties to significant financial and reputational risks. As such, NRA encourages the public to remain cautious when dealing with former employees or individuals claiming to represent the Authority.

Moreover, NRA continues to work towards ensuring that its operations remain secure and free from any form of misconduct.

By providing this public notice, the Authority aims to prevent any confusion or misuse of its name, as well as to protect the public from unnecessary exposure to potential fraud.

The NRA urges the public to heed this warning regarding Chrispin Toma’s dismissal. It is essential that businesses and individuals avoid any transactions with him to protect themselves from potential legal or financial repercussions.

The Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding the trust and safety of the public.
