QCell- SL, Sierra Leone’s fastest growing telecommunications network, has expanded its 4G LTE services with the launch of two new sites in Freetown as part of its ongoing commitment to improve connectivity and provide top-quality network services across the country.

The newly commissioned 4G sites are located at Benz Garage (Blackhall Road) and Government Municipal in central Freetown. This latest development is a significant milestone in QCell’s ambitious network expansion program designed to deliver faster, more reliable, and efficient Internet services to its ever-growing customer base.

In a public statement, QCell- SL expressed excitement over the launch. “We are thrilled to announce the launch of new QCell 4G sites at Benz Garage and Government Municipal in Freetown,” the statement reads. “These additions are part of our continuous effort to expand and strengthen our network, ensuring our valued customers enjoy the best possible internet speeds and connectivity wherever they are.”

With the addition of these new 4G LTE sites, customers in these areas will now experience improved data transfer speeds, better voice call quality, and more stable internet connections. This enhancement is particularly significant for businesses, students, and remote workers who rely heavily on fast and stable internet for daily activities such as video conferencing, online classes, streaming, and other digital services.

QCell- SL noted that customer satisfaction remains at the core of its operations and this expansion reflects the company’s dedication to meeting the communication needs of Sierra Leoneans. “Your satisfaction remains our top priority and we are committed to providing you with the best network experience possible,” the company stated.

The telecommunications giant also reassured its subscribers that this move is part of a larger strategy aimed at providing comprehensive 4G LTE coverage not only in Freetown but across other key regions in Sierra Leone. “We are staying true to our commitment to provide excellent network services around Freetown, and soon we will be unveiling further developments in other parts of the country to ensure all Sierra Leoneans benefit from quality and reliable communication services,” QCell- SL added.

The roll-out of these new sites is expected to bridge existing network gaps, reduce internet downtimes, and ease network congestion, especially in busy and densely populated areas such as Blackhall Road and Government Municipal, where the demand for data services has surged in recent times.

As the demand for faster internet services continues to grow in Sierra Leone, especially with the increase in smartphone usage, e-commerce, digital banking, and virtual learning, QCell- SL’s efforts to boost its infrastructure place it in a competitive position within the country’s telecom sector.

Many customers have already expressed satisfaction with QCell’s network improvements, noting that the company continues to live up to its promise of delivering affordable, high-speed, and reliable communication services.

QCell- SL has also hinted at future expansions, assuring customers of its resolve to introduce more advanced technologies and broaden its coverage footprint, ensuring that even rural and underserved areas enjoy quality internet services.

With these latest 4G site additions, QCell- SL reaffirms its position as one of Sierra Leone’s leading telecommunication companies, committed to connecting people, businesses, and communities through innovation and reliable service delivery.
