With the stigmas of ethnic, regional imbalance continuing to hunt both the governing Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) amid popular calls for democratic reforms with fixed focus on ethnic and regional balance, a new wave appears to have emerged in the ruling SLPP.
Though not really but rather youthful, which makes it peculiar and more adoring to see a young man seeking for the Deputy National Chairman position in the SLPP. It is unorthodox as it comes against what has over the years been the norm for holding national political offices in both political parties, as most past executives of these political parties were all old people in their late 60s climbing to the their 70s.
