The Sierra Leone Premier League Board has officially announced the nominees for the Leone Rock Premier League Coach of the Month award for June, and voting is now open to fans, journalists, and football enthusiasts across the country.

This prestigious monthly accolade recognizes coaching excellence and tactical brilliance in Sierra Leone’s top-flight football league. The four nominees for June have each demonstrated outstanding leadership and performance, guiding their respective teams to unbeaten runs throughout the month.

The shortlisted coaches are:

Francis Zappa Koroma – Bai Bureh Warriors

Coach Zappa had an impressive run in June, leading Bai Bureh Warriors through four unbeaten matches. His team recorded three wins and one draw, placing him among the strongest contenders for the award. His tactical discipline and consistency have earned praise from fans and pundits alike.

Musa Jalloh – Bhantal FC

Matching Zappa’s record, Coach Musa Jalloh also guided Bhantal FC to an unbeaten streak with three victories and one draw. His strategic approach and ability to get the best out of his squad have made Bhantal one of the standout teams in the league this season.

Gibrilla Julius Woobay – Wilberforce Strikers

Coach Woobay maintained an undefeated record in June as well, steering Wilberforce Strikers to two wins and two draws. His team’s resilience and defensive organization have been key features of their recent performances, making him a strong nominee for the monthly honor.

Musa Kallon – FC Kallon

Another coach with a perfect record in terms of avoiding defeat, Coach Musa Kallon led FC Kallon to two wins and two draws. Known for his attacking flair and tactical creativity, Kallon continues to uphold the club’s competitive reputation in the league.

All four nominees finished June without a single defeat, making this month’s voting a tightly contested affair. With such closely matched records, the decision now lies in the hands of the public and league followers.
