Heartfelt Message of Condolence to the SLPP Family in Constituency 122
To Our Beloved Members of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) in Constituency 122,
It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to the entire SLPP family, particularly the grieving members of Constituency 122, following the tragic accident that claimed the lives of our dear brothers and left others in critical condition. The news of this devastating incident has sent shockwaves through our party and the nation, leaving us in a state of collective mourning.
In this moment of unimaginable pain, we remember and honor the lives of our fallen comrades Chairman Alusine of Constituency 122, Brother Muana, and the other dedicated party member whose lives were cut short while they were serving a cause greater than themselves. These were not just names on a list; they were pillars of our community, selfless workers of the SLPP, and passionate advocates for Team George. Their dedication to the party, their unwavering commitment to the progress of Sierra Leone, and their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
*Chairman Alusine* was a leader in every sense of the word—a unifying force, a strategist, and a man who embodied the true spirit of the SLPP. His leadership in Constituency 122 was marked by integrity, resilience, and an unshakable belief in the ideals of our party. He was not just a chairman; he was a mentor, a father figure, and a friend to many. His absence leaves a void that cannot be easily filled.
*Brother Muana*, a dedicated worker of the Sierra Leone Ports and Harbors Authority (SLPHA), was a man of diligence and humility. He balanced his professional responsibilities with an unrelenting passion for the SLPP, always ready to contribute to the party’s growth. His hard work and loyalty were an inspiration to all who knew him.
The third member, whose name we also hold in reverence, was a soldier of democracy—a grassroots mobilizer who believed in the vision of Team George and worked tirelessly to ensure its success. Together, these three heroes were on a campaign trip, driven by their love for Sierra Leone and their faith in a better future. That they met their untimely end in the line of duty makes their passing even more painful.
To the families of the departed, we say: *Your loss is our loss.* No words can ease the pain of losing a loved one, but we pray that you find solace in the knowledge that they died as heroes—men who dedicated their lives to service, progress, and the collective good. The SLPP stands with you in this darkest hour, and we will do everything in our power to support you through this difficult time.
To our injured comrades currently fighting for their lives in the hospital, we offer our fervent prayers for your full recovery. Your courage and resilience inspire us, and we urge you to stay strong. The entire party is behind you, and we will ensure you receive the best care possible.
This tragedy is a painful reminder of the risks that come with the pursuit of a better Sierra Leone. Campaign trails are often long, arduous, and unpredictable, but our fallen brothers knew the stakes and chose to serve regardless. Their sacrifice must not be in vain. As we mourn, let us also recommit ourselves to the ideals they fought for—unity, development, and the success of Team George. Let their memories fuel our determination to win not just the elections, but the hearts of every Sierra Leonean.
In the coming days, the SLPP will honor our departed heroes in a manner befitting their contributions. We will celebrate their lives, uphold their legacies, and ensure that their work continues through our collective efforts.
To Constituency 122—the home of these gallant men—we say: *You are not alone.* The entire SLPP family mourns with you, and together, we will rise from this tragedy stronger and more united. Chairman Alusine, Brother Muana, and their fallen comrade may be gone in body, but their spirits will forever remain with us, guiding our steps as we march forward.
May the Almighty God grant their souls eternal rest and grant their families the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
*In Solidarity and Deepest Sympathy,*
Amadu Abdulai Amstrong Sesay
Former Aspirant for Western Regional Chairmanship 2025
*Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP)*
