Speaking on the partnership, Liberty Online TV expressed its enthusiasm in continuing a collaboration that has yielded impactful results. “This renewal is not just a continuation of business—it’s a reaffirmation of our shared vision to lead in innovation, connect meaningfully with the public, and foster national development,” said Kadijah Bangura, Managing Partner at Liberty Online TV. “Together, we are raising the bar in how media and financial institutions work together to serve the public interest.”

Liberty Online TV has emerged as one of the country’s most trusted digital news platforms, known for its balanced, credible, and timely delivery of news and public information. Its strategic use of online platforms has expanded public access to important national conversations, economic insights, and social development issues.

UBA- Sierra Leone, a subsidiary of the pan-African United Bank for Africa Group, continues to be a pillar in Sierra Leone’s banking sector. With over a decade of dedicated service, UBA has earned a reputation for excellence in financial service delivery, customer satisfaction, and innovation. Beyond banking, the institution has played a crucial role in national development through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, supporting education, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment across the country.

“This partnership aligns with UBA’s commitment to supporting impactful platforms that promote transparency, development, and citizen engagement,” said Sallieu Sesay, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at UBA Sierra Leone. “Liberty Online TV has proven to be a valuable partner in helping us communicate our message and reach a wider audience in a meaningful way.”

Also present at the signing ceremony was Abdulai Gbla, Senior Producer at Liberty Online TV, who reiterated the media company’s readiness to elevate content delivery in the coming year. “We are excited to explore new ideas, fresh formats, and deeper community outreach. Our goal is to amplify stories that matter, especially those that showcase how financial services are transforming lives.”

The renewed agreement will see both entities collaborating on a range of media and public engagement initiatives, including branded content creation, community development storytelling, and real-time digital coverage of events and campaigns aligned with UBA’s CSR objectives.

Industry observers have lauded the partnership as a model for effective collaboration between the financial and media sectors in Sierra Leone. It demonstrates how cross-sector partnerships can drive innovation, educate the public, and contribute to national development.

As the media and financial landscapes continue to evolve, Liberty Online TV and UBA- Sierra Leone stand united in their commitment to deliver value-driven, forward-thinking, and people-centered communication. This partnership renewal is a bold step towards a shared future of excellence, engagement, and empowerment.
