UBA Sierra Leone is proud to celebrate seven outstanding young Sierra Leoneans who have successfully graduated from the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Graduate Management Acceleration Programme (GMAP) held in Lagos, Land Mark Event Center, Victoria Island Nigeria on Sunday 19th October, 2025.
GMAP is a highly competitive initiative open to individuals under the age of 29. It identifies and trains exceptional young talents across Africa through months of intensive learning, leadership development, and hands on experience across different banking departments, preparing them to become the next generation of transformational leaders.
The Sierra Leonean graduates include: Bernard Innocent Browne, Emma Aminata Kamara, James Keddie Kamara, Alfred Kamara, Brima Kaitibie Lebbie, Joyce Elvina Koroma, Stanley Babah Kamara.
These young achievers have completed the rigorous training and will now take up key roles within UBA Sierra Leone, bringing fresh energy, innovation, and purpose to the Bank’s operations.
UBA’s continuous investment in youth empowerment across Africa reflects the strong vision of its Group Chairman, Tony O. Elumelu, who believes that Africa’s growth and prosperity depend on empowering its youth today to lead tomorrow.
As these seven graduates begin their professional journey, they carry the UBA legacy of Excellence, Enterprise, and Execution, reaffirming UBA’s position as Africa’s Global Bank, committed to empowering young people, nurturing leaders, and transforming lives across the continent.
