Thousands of enthusiastic supporters gathered at the Bassa Town Field, on Saturday, November 15 to welcome Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, whose arrival sparked loud chants of “Blessing Bobor!” and a wave of celebration that swept across the entire Waterloo community, constituency 128.

Taking the stage amid the jubilant atmosphere, Dr. Bangura expressed deep gratitude for the overwhelming turnout. He described the gathering as a powerful symbol of unity and a testament to the community’s unwavering belief in progress and collective purpose.

Dr. Bangura acknowledged the challenges facing the people of Waterloo but emphasized that with determination and collaboration, those challenges could be overcome. He called on residents to remain focused, supportive of his mission to Heal, Unite, and Build the Country, and driven by a shared vision for development.

Dr. Bangura reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing improved services, youth empowerment, women’s advancement, and inclusive leadership. He assured the crowd that their concerns and aspirations would continue to shape his plans and decisions.

As he spoke, the excitement in the field continued to rise, with supporters waving banners, clapping, and cheering in solidarity. By the end of the event, it was evident that Dr. Bangura’s message resonated strongly with the thousands in attendance.

Among the key speakers at the event was Honourable Cornelius Deveaux, former Minister of Information, whose remarks energized the audience even further. Hon.
