General Abraham Lincoln Larkoh has issued a powerful message to Sierra Leone’s ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Government, vowing to use his ”last strength” to ensure the party is voted out of power in the country’s 2028 general elections.
Speaking on Saturday, at a fundraising and declaration event for Madam Baby-Haj Jeng in Columbus, Ohio, USA, the prominent Honorary Executive member of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party called for unity among party members and supporters to bring about political change in Sierra Leone.
The event drew a large crowd of APC members and supporters from across the diaspora and was characterized by excitement, solidarity, and optimism. Madam Baby-Haj Jeng—widely described by attendees as a ”Mother of Peace, Love, Compassion, and Unity”- was praised for her tireless efforts to mobilize support for the APC party both domestically and internationally.
Supporters made generous financial contributions and pledges aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational structures ahead of the 2028 polls. The gathering was seen as a major rallying point for the APC diaspora, signaling renewed determination to challenge the SLPP’s governance.
In a passionate address, General Lincoln Larkoh lamented what he described as Sierra Leone’s ”toughest moments” under the current administration, citing a worsening drug crisis (Kush) among youth and what he called a failure of leadership by the SLPP government.
“This SLPP government has nothing to offer the people of Sierra Leone,” General Abraham Lincoln declared. “It is time for all of us to come together, put our differences aside, and fight to save our nation from further suffering.”
General Lincoln emphasized that the APC party must remain united and avoid internal conflicts that could undermine its chances of electoral victory.
”Whether President Maada Bio likes it or not, come 2028, the SLPP will surely leave State House,” he asserted, drawing loud applause from the audience.
General Abraham Lincoln also commended Madam Baby Haj-Jeng for her unwavering commitment to the APC party and her efforts to empower and inspire young people and other party members. He urged all supporters to emulate her spirit of dedication and service.
The event concluded with renewed calls for unity, resilience, and readiness within the APC as the party intensifies its preparations to reclaim power in 2028.
