ECO Multi Media Entertainment has announced the return of its Government School vs Private School competition, an educational and entertainment programme aimed at bringing students from government and private schools together for a day of knowledge, creativity and healthy competition.
The event is scheduled for November 27, 2026, at the Bo Shopping Plaza in Bo City under the theme “Edutainment.”
The programme will feature three major activities: a quiz competition, debate competition and fashion competition. Organisers say the activities will provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their academic knowledge, public speaking abilities, confidence and creativity.
The initiative is being organised by ECO Multi Media Entertainment as part of its efforts to use entertainment and education to create opportunities for young people to showcase their talents.
The programme is expected to bring together participating government and private schools, students, teachers, parents and other education stakeholders from Bo and surrounding communities.
Speaking about the initiative, the man behind ECO Multi Media Entertainment, Eco Bank Baba, said the programme is designed to give young people a platform to learn, compete and express themselves.
Eco Bank, who has become a household name in Sierra Leone through his work in entertainment and youth oriented activities, said the competition is not only about winning but also about encouraging students to develop confidence, discipline and respect for others.
He said bringing government and private schools together would create an opportunity for students from different backgrounds to interact and learn from one another.
According to Eco, the organisation wants the programme to become a platform where education and entertainment can work together to inspire young people.
He encouraged schools, parents and teachers to support their students and participate in the event, noting that young people need platforms where their abilities can be recognised and developed.
The quiz competition will test participants’ knowledge, while the debate will challenge students to demonstrate their research, reasoning and communication skills. The fashion competition will provide an avenue for students to showcase their creativity and talent.
ECO Multi Media Entertainment has invited government and private schools to take part and urged members of the public to attend the event at Bo Shopping Plaza.
The organisers are also encouraging students to prepare adequately as they look forward to a competitive and entertaining programme.
With the return of Government School vs Private School, ECO Multi Media Entertainment hopes to create a memorable platform that combines learning, talent development and entertainment while promoting unity among young people in Bo.
