Members of the APC-USA District recently gathered in Atlanta, Georgia, to hear a powerful message of unity, commitment, and forward-looking leadership delivered by Madam Baby-Haj Jeng, a respected and dedicated stalwart of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party.

The meeting focused on strengthening the APC’s presence abroad, promoting the campaign message of Mr. Patrick Pearce, the next APC-USA District Chairman, and preparing members for the important task ahead as Sierra Leone moves closer to the 2028 General Elections.

Mrs. Jeng, often described as a mother of peace and harmony, is widely known for her loyalty, dedication, and selfless service to both the APC-USA District and the wider APC Party. Her calm yet energetic delivery, clear communication, and passion for party growth were evident throughout her address. Many comrades believe these qualities place her in a strong position to help move the District forward.

Addressing party members, Mrs. Jeng urged everyone to remain united and focused if the APC hopes to reclaim victory in the 2028 elections. She emphasized that internal division only weakens the party and delays progress. According to her, unity, respect, and teamwork are essential if the APC party is to regain national leadership and effectively serve the people of Sierra Leone.

Madam Baby-Haj Jeng explained that her presence at the Atlanta gathering was motivated by the love and respect she has for the APC Party and for Mr. Pearce. Mrs. Jeng openly wished Mr. Pearce success in the upcoming APC-USA District convention, describing him as someone she has known and respected for over a decade. She noted that their long relationship is built on mutual understanding and a shared commitment to the party’s goals.

During her address, Madam Baby-Haj Jeng introduced her campaign team to the audience, allowing members to see those working closely with her. She described her team as hardworking, committed, and firmly supportive of youth participation. She stressed that young people should no longer remain on the sidelines but must be given meaningful leadership roles within the party.

She praised the Young Shall Grow movement for its dedication and contributions, describing it as a strong and reliable group ready to stand with her at all times. Madam Baby-Haj Jeng said the energy, innovation, and ideas coming from young people give her confidence that the APC has a bright and promising future, both at home and abroad.

She also used the occasion to call for greater support for women in leadership. According to her, women who are capable and ready to serve should be encouraged and entrusted with responsibility. She emphasized that inclusive leadership—one that values both youth and women—will make the APC stronger, more dynamic, and more relevant in today’s political environment.

In closing, Mrs. Baby-Haj Jeng thanked members of the APC-Atlanta, Georgia Chapter for their warm reception and continued support. She encouraged everyone to remain active, loyal, and focused on the party’s long-term objectives.

Supporters believe that with Madam Baby-Haj Jeng serving as Vice Chair, the APC-USA District has the potential to become one of the most influential and financially stable districts. They say her leadership could drive meaningful activities that will strengthen the party’s image and boost its preparations for the 2028 General Elections in Sierra Leone.
