Adams Bangura is a seasoned and forward-looking leader whose record of service, professionalism, and commitment to the All People’s Congress (APC) distinguishes him as a leading candidate for Chairman of the APC Diaspora 6th Region. Widely respected within the party and across the diaspora, he brings the experience, credibility, and unifying leadership required at this critical moment in the party’s journey.

A devoted husband and father, Adams has over 18 years of senior-level administrative and operational experience across both the public and private sectors. He currently serves as a Production and Operational Services Manager with NHS England, where he oversees complex service delivery systems in one of the world’s most demanding public institutions.

His professional background includes roles as a Financial Analyst at the National Commission for Privatisation in Sierra Leone, along with supervisory and management responsibilities at the Sierra Leone Road Transport Corporation, Sierra Leone Ports Authority, Rokel Commercial Bank, and Sierra Leone Postal Services. This blend of financial, operational, and governance experience underpins his reputation as a disciplined and results-driven administrator.

Adams Bangura is also a Research Fellow at Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs), reflecting his engagement with global affairs, geopolitics, and international governance. His commitment to inclusive representation is further demonstrated by his service as the Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Representative within the UK Labour Party in Southwark.

Diplomacy, Representation, and Party Stewardship

In 2023, Adams played a central role in facilitating high-level engagements between the APC and key international stakeholders. He coordinated meetings involving the party leadership and former ministers with the UK Parliament’s Select Committee on Foreign Affairs and organized speaking engagements for Dr. Samura Kamara, former APC Flag-Bearer, at Chatham House and the BBC Headquarters. These efforts underscored his ability to navigate international institutions and democratic systems with confidence and credibility.

His diplomatic skills were also evident during the APC retreat in The Gambia, where he led successful interventions to resolve immigration challenges faced by party delegates, ensuring their lawful entry and participation.

Within the APC, Adams Bangura’s contribution spans decades. As a former Youth Leader of APC UK & Ireland, he mentored many of today’s Diaspora 6th Region leaders. He has consistently represented the party locally and internationally with clarity of purpose and respect for party values. At the 2025 Diaspora 6th Regional Retreat in The Gambia, he served as a moderator among Flag-Bearer aspirants, earning recognition for his neutrality, statesmanship, and deep understanding of party dynamics.

Service Beyond Politics

As a Minister of the Gospel, motivational speaker, coach, and assessor of trainers, Adams brings a rare combination of moral grounding and professional discipline. He served on the APC Diaspora Sixth Regional Seven-Man Committee, contributing to the drafting of the Regional Structures, and was also a member of the Diaspora 6th Regional Constitutional Review Committee.

He is the founding Secretary-General and former Vice Chairman of AWOL UK, sits on the boards of several rights-based and charitable organizations, and currently serves as Secretary-General of the Global Diaspora Hub of committed APC members worldwide.

Recognition and Academic Foundation

Adams Bangura is widely regarded as a national asset to the APC. He was named Best Speaker at the first APC National Youth League Conference in 2015, attended by the then President of Sierra Leone as Grand Chief Patron. He has also served as a Parliamentary Symbol Candidate for Constituency 118 in the 2018 general elections and has previously contested for party leadership roles in the UK.

Academically;

Adams Bangura is a holder of several Degrees and at Postgraduate level.

A Steady Hand for the Future

As the APC looks toward the 2028 political horizon, the Diaspora 6th Region requires leadership that is experienced, credible, and unifying. This is not a moment for uncertainty, but for steady stewardship grounded in service, visibility, and proven capacity.

Adams Bangura embodies that leadership.

A trusted voice.

A respected statesman.

A committed servant of the APC.

Vote Adams Bangura for Chairman, APC Diaspora 6th Region.
