Sierra Leone international Kwame Quee marked a memorable return to the Leone Rock Premier League with a decisive performance, scoring on his debut to inspire East End Lions Football Club to a hard fought 2–1 victory over Kamboi Eagles FC.

The encounter, played amid high expectations, saw East End Lions register back to back wins for the first time this season, a result that further boosts confidence within the camp as the league campaign gathers momentum. Much of the post-match discussion centered on the impact of Kwame Quee, whose return to domestic football has been widely described as a timely boost for the Killers.

Quee, making his first appearance since rejoining the club, showed composure and leadership throughout the match. His influence was evident as East End Lions pressed early, controlled possession, and looked sharper in attack compared to previous outings. The breakthrough came when Quee calmly converted to give the hosts the lead, igniting celebrations among supporters who had waited eagerly for his return.

Kamboi Eagles responded with determination and found an equaliser through Idrissa Kallon, who finished clinically to bring the visitors back into the game. The goal briefly shifted momentum, with the Kenema based side pushing forward in search of a second. However, East End Lions held their shape and continued to create chances.

The decisive moment arrived later in the match when Quee struck again, sealing the win and underlining his importance to the team. His brace proved enough to secure all three points and extend East End Lions’ positive run in the ongoing Leone Rock Premier League.

Speaking after the match, an elated Quee expressed gratitude for the warm reception and support from teammates and fans. “Gratitude is a must. I am happy to make my debut for East End Lions and help the team with a brace,” he said. The striker also praised the collective effort, noting that the victory was a result of teamwork and discipline on the pitch.

For East End Lions, the win signals renewed belief as they look to climb the table and maintain consistency. With Kwame Quee back in their ranks and already making a decisive impact, the Killers will be hopeful that this performance marks the beginning of a strong run in the league.
