The dispute involves popular local musicians Legacy Boi and Sweeta Boi, both of whom say they are the rightful owners of the track. The disagreement has drawn attention among music fans and industry stakeholders as discussions continue over who created and owns the song.

According to information circulating within the entertainment sector, both artists have expressed claims to the song titled Money Necessary, leading to a growing debate among supporters of the two musicians. The matter has since prompted intervention from the Sierra Leone Producers Union, which has stepped in to examine the issue and establish the facts surrounding the production and ownership of the track.

The Union confirmed that it is currently reviewing the situation in order to determine the rightful owner of the song. Industry observers say such disputes are not uncommon in the music world, particularly when issues of songwriting credits, production rights or recording ownership are not clearly documented from the beginning of a project.

Officials of the Sierra Leone Producers Union say their priority is to ensure that the matter is handled professionally and fairly. The organization has begun gathering information related to the production of the song, including details about when it was recorded, who participated in its creation and the agreements that may have been made during the recording process.

Music industry stakeholders have welcomed the involvement of the Union, noting that an impartial review is important in resolving disagreements that could otherwise escalate within the entertainment community.

As the review continues, members of the public and fans of both artists have been urged to remain calm and avoid spreading misinformation while the matter is being investigated. The Union emphasized that it will work carefully to establish the facts before making any decision regarding ownership of the song.

Supporters of both Legacy Boi and Sweeta Boi have taken to social media to express their views on the dispute, with some calling for dialogue between the artists while others are waiting for an official conclusion from industry authorities.

The Sierra Leone Producers Union says its goal is to reach a peaceful and fair resolution that reflects the truth about the song’s origin and production.

For now, the organization has assured the public that the matter is being handled with care and professionalism, and that a final determination will be made once all relevant facts have been fully reviewed and verified
