The Leone Stars squad reflects a balanced mix of experienced players and emerging talents, with selections spanning all departments. The announcement signals the coach’s intent to strengthen team chemistry while evaluating individual performances ahead of future competitive matches.

In the goalkeeping department, Alhaji Sesay, Francis Koroma, and Mamadou Jalloh have been called up to provide options between the posts. Their inclusion offers depth and competition as the technical team seeks consistency in that area.

Defensively, Kallon has opted for a group of reliable players, including Abdulai Juma Bah, Abdul Jarju Kabia, Alpha Turay, Nathaniel Jalloh, Citta Bah, Sallieu Tarawalie, Emmanuel Sahr Samadia, and Idris Kanu. The defensive lineup is expected to play a key role in maintaining stability and discipline during the friendlies.

The midfield features a blend of creativity and energy, with Kamil Conteh, John Billii Sesay, Alhassan Koroma, Saidu Fofanah, Santigie Fornah, Hindolo Mustapha, Mustapha Bundu, and Kwame Quee all earning selection. This group is expected to drive the team’s play, linking defense and attack while providing control in the middle of the pitch.

In attack, the coach has named a strong set of forwards, including Amadou Bakayoko, Yayah Kallon, Samuel Ghandi, John Thomas Kamara, Daniel Kanu, and Sullay Borbor Kaikai. The attacking options highlight a mix of pace, experience, and goal scoring ability, offering flexibility in the final third.

Speaking on the squad selection, Coach Kallon is expected to use the friendlies to test different tactical approaches and combinations. The matches will provide an opportunity to assess how well the players adapt to his system and execute game plans under competitive conditions.

The friendlies are also seen as an important step in building momentum for Sierra Leone as the team looks ahead to upcoming international competitions. Strong performances could boost confidence and help establish a solid foundation for future success.

Football fans across the country will be eager to see how the team performs, with expectations high for a spirited display that reflects the nation’s passion for the game. The Leone Stars will be aiming to make a positive impression and continue their journey of growth on the international stage.

The squad announcement marks another chapter in Sierra Leone’s football development, with hopes that the blend of talent selected will deliver encouraging results.
