Hon. Sidie Mohamed Tunis and his wife, Mrs. Nabeela Farida Tunis, have once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to human capital development in Sierra Leone through a generous donation of $10,000 to the Pujehun District Student Association (PuDSA) for the construction of its Secretariat.

This significant contribution forms part of their continuous efforts to empower young people and strengthen educational structures within Pujehun District and beyond. Their intervention reflects a broader vision of investing in the future of the nation by supporting initiatives that directly impact students and academic growth.

Over the years, Hon. Tunis and his wife have remained consistent in their philanthropic gestures, particularly in the education sector. In addition to this latest donation, they have provided scholarships to numerous underprivileged students, both within Pujehun District and in other parts of the country, enabling many to pursue their academic ambitions.

The Secretariat project is designed to provide PuDSA with a standard and functional office space that will serve as a hub for student activities. This facility is expected to enhance coordination, planning, and implementation of programs aimed at improving student welfare and academic excellence.

By supporting the construction of this Secretariat, the Tunis family is not only addressing infrastructural needs but also fostering a conducive environment for leadership development among students. The project will empower young people to organize effectively, share ideas, and implement initiatives that will benefit their peers and communities.

Ultimately, this laudable gesture underscores the importance of collaboration between leaders and grassroots organizations in driving national development. The investment in PuDSA stands as a testament to the belief that when students are equipped with the right tools and opportunities, they can contribute meaningfully to the growth and progress of both Pujehun District and Sierra Leone as a whole.
