Across Sierra Leone and throughout the global Sierra Leonean diaspora, a remarkable movement continues to gather momentum. It is a movement founded not on division, but on unity; not on bitterness, but on reconciliation; not on fear, but on hope. It is the Heal. Unite. Build. Vision of Dr Ibrahim Bangura, strengthened by its enduring message of Love Over Hate, Building Bridges, Not Walls.
Among the greatest champions of this vision are the women of Sierra Leone.
Throughout our nation’s history, women have been the backbone of families, communities and national development. They have carried our hopes through difficult times, nurtured future generations, and demonstrated resilience in the face of countless challenges. Today, they are once again demonstrating visionary leadership by embracing a message that places national unity above division and the future above the politics of the past.
This growing movement deserves recognition.

The movement has also witnessed the emergence of another exciting chapter through the DIB Iron Ladies, under the distinguished leadership of its CEO, Madam Jeneba Sesay. Her commitment to empowering women as agents of positive change has transformed the Iron Ladies into a vibrant platform for service, solidarity and national renewal.
The forthcoming launch of the DIB Iron Ladies UK & Ireland Chapter on 11 September 2026 represents far more than the inauguration of another organisation. It symbolises the continued international growth of a vision that has inspired Sierra Leoneans both at home and abroad. It demonstrates that the ideals of unity, respect, inclusion and constructive engagement resonate far beyond our national borders.
From Freetown to London, from our towns and villages to Sierra Leonean communities across the world, increasing numbers of people are embracing the belief that our country’s future is best secured when we work together rather than against one another.
This growing support reflects the appeal of a message centred on healing old divisions, strengthening relationships, encouraging dialogue and building a stronger Sierra Leone for future generations.
As the All People’s Congress prepares for its forthcoming National Delegates Conference, delegates will carry an important responsibility. Their decisions will shape the future direction of the Party and influence its readiness to serve the nation.
Many supporters of Dr. Ibrahim Bangura believe that one of his defining strengths is that he has presented not simply an aspiration for leadership, but a clearly articulated vision around the themes of Heal.
