Africell Sierra Leone electronic cash transfer unit, Afrimoney and Rokel Commercial Bank have last Friday 18th November 2022 jointly launched the Put and Pull, (Bank to Wallet, Wallet to Bank service at the RCBank Juba branch, Juba Hill in the West end of Freetown.
Welcoming all at the launching which brought telecom corporate and banking executives together, the Managing Director of Rokel Commercial Bank, Dr Ekundayo Walton Gilpin expressed his profound delight at the historic unveiling of RCBank-Afrimoney Put and Pull cash transfer service in Sierra Leone.
Dr Gilpin described the joint venture as another milestone achievement with a huge benchmark achievement in the electronic and digital cash transform platform scheme, pointing out that with the technologies, RCBank has always been is always at the forefront in the banking industry in Sierra Leone. He said RCBank delivers reliable cash transfer payment solutions via convenient, reliable and safe channels, adding that his bank does not only earn customers their desired convenience, but also bridge the gap in banking, by way of promoting sustainable financial inclusion across the board.
Dr Gilpin said RCBank is proud to form significant part of such platform, reassuring both RCBank and Afrimoney customers of easy access to cash on their phones linked to their RCBank accounts, wherever they find themselves in the country. The service, he continued will entreat customers happiness in the country.

The Director of Finance, RCBank, Abassie Thomas reassured customers and subscribers of the firmest partners with the telecom giant to ease the facilitation of cash transfer from his bank to Afrimoney wallets of subscribers, as it will always make life easy for customers across the country. Thomas added that with the joint scheme of RCBank-Afrimoney cash transfer system customers can transfer money via their Africmony accounts to their RCBank accounts anytime of the day, noting that customer will have easy access, especially businesses who normally come to the bank.
